The first Italian publication on the fate and heroic deeds of Rotamaster Witold Pilecki has just been released. It was written by Dr. Marco Patricelli, a lecturer of Modern European History at the University of Chieti (near Pescara). It is now the second foreign publication on the life and work of "the volunteer to Auschwitz". The first was released in the 70s in England. Its author, Professor Michael R.D. Foot ("Six Faces of Courage"), has ranked the Rotamaster among the six most courageous people of the Europe's resistance movement.
